Established in 1975, Medallion is one of the oldest pet food businesses in New Zealand, having served the New Zealand farming and urban communities for over 40 years.
Today, Medallion is a mid-sized business specialising in the slaughter of pasture reared New Zealand sheep and cattle for dog food, and manufacturing retail dog nutrition products for both New Zealand working farm dogs and for companion pet dogs.
Under our own proprietary brands of STAMINA, WORK DOG, PERFECT Grain Free, PERFECT Deli Fresh, MEDALLION and High Country, Medallion Pet Foods offers chilled, frozen, and ambient dog food products, always with a focus on high fresh meat content to provide a good quality natural diet.
Based in Waipukurau, Central Hawkes’ Bay, Medallion’s enduring success comes from our connection with the local farming community and keeping to traditional recipes based on good quality raw ingredients with a minimum of additives.
