Requirements for sending stock in
When you move animals between properties, including sending stock (cattle, sheep and lambs) to a meat processor, you must complete an Animal Status Declaration form (ASD).
This transfers vital health and disease information about them to the next Person in Charge of Animals (PICA).
Please note. The Animal Welfare (Care and Procedures) Regulations 2018 cover a range of animals and situations, including stock transport. Please ensure adherence to these stringent regulations relating to Animal Welfare and suitability of stock for transport.
